Jackie Phillips

Jackie Phillips was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and actually grew up in foster care until she was adopted at age 11 years old. She knew she always wanted to be a foster and adoptive parent, but it was not until giving a speech in Tucson, AZ for the Walk for Children, that she realized her passion for helping for children would also be her career. When her sister and family suffered a terrible tragedy, they started work on Onward Hope, a place they hoped to better the lives of their “brothers and sisters” in and from foster care.

Mrs. Phillips is married with 2 children and was a licensed foster parent for 2 years. She hopes to continue her passion in helping children and teens from foster care with their addition of Onward Hope’s Drop-In center and Teen mentoring program.
